Internship Opportunities

The great thing about working with students is the environment that forms between a teacher and student, full of both a desire to learn and grow beyond what is known and comfortable. However, I once heard that once a student always a student, so dare I say this is a partnership of two passionate students wanting to further their knowledge for the betterment of those they are to help through a journey of nutrition. I believe there are many opportunities for you to learn from me but I can't deny the fact that there will be opportunities for me to learn from you. Let's challenge each other to be better nutritionists and grow professionally. Here are the ways I work with students and interns.

Student Interns:

  • I accept interns 3 times per year: Fall (Aug. - Dec.), Spring (Jan. - April), and Summer (May - July)

  • Preference will be given to any candidate who can commit to working with us for at least 16 weeks or more of the student internship term

  • Internship is unpaid without a set stipend; unless offered for special projects for exceptional interns

  • Phoenix, AZ based candidates are preferred but virtual interns can still be hired

  • Internships are offered in culinary nutrition, social media, and communications

Potential Tasks

  • Reviewing, analyzing, and developing content for social media channels

  • Writing newsletter content

  • Researching current food and nutrition topics

  • Writing timely, well-developed food and nutrition blog posts

  • Developing fresh new recipes in addition to writing content to promote it

  • Food photography and editing

In exchange, interns may receive mentorship, letters of recommendation, and references commiserate with performance.
